David Fisher was a late entrant to the bar having found his way to Cambridge in his late 20s.  Prior to that he worked as a solicitor's clerk for some 10 years during which he gained extensive experience of litigation and civil procedure.  David has been in practice at the bar since 1986 when he became a tenant in the Chambers of Lord Campbell of Alloway QC (later the Chambers of Robert Webb QC at 5 Bell Yard).  Since the mid 90s, David's practice has focused on general commercial law, civil fraud, professional negligence and employment.  David's commercial work has involved numerous multi jurisdictional cases including litigation in the United States, Japan, Korea and the Eastern Caribbean. 

Recent cases of interest include commercial fraud, breach of director's fiduciary duties, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, aircraft leasing, several football related disputes, insurance coverage, professional negligence claims (IFAs, insurance brokers, solicitors).  David is currently engaged in major and long running litigation in the Caribbean concerning the financing of the construction of a world class resort.
