Alex Learmonth shortlisted for ACTAPS Award

We are delighted to announce that Alexander Learmonth has been shortlisted in the category of ‘Contentious Barrister of the Year’ at the annual ACTAPS (Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists) Awards. The Judging Committee will be finalising their decision over the coming months with the winner being announced at the ACTAPS Spring Seminar next year. Congratulations to the two others shortlisted.

Alexander specialises in succession, real property and related professional negligence.  He has considerable experience both as a trial advocate and before the Court of Appeal, and is an editor of the two leading textbooks on succession, Theobald on Wills, and Williams, Mortimer & Sunnucks.  His reported cases include some of the leading authorities in his areas of practice, and he recently appeared in Marley v Rawlings.
