Francesca Perselli summarises the case Cowan v Foreman [2019] EWCA Civ 1336 and its implications.



"The position at first instance that standstill agreements are not effective has been reversed. Whilst they are not binding on the court, it is unlikely that the court will not grant permission for an out of time claim to be brought provided that all of the potential parties have entered into a clear written agreement."
