Phil Reeves - Senior Clerk
Phil has over 30 years’ clerking experience. Since beginning his career with a specialist company law set in 1988, Phil has always focused on chancery and commercial work.
As our Senior Clerk, Phil is responsible for the smooth running of Chambers, and is dedicated to ensuring the delivery of outstanding levels of service across Chambers.

Michelle Greene - Deputy Senior Clerk
Michelle joined Chambers in 2002, after attaining a BA Honours degree at Oxford Brookes University.
As our Deputy Senior Clerk, Michelle assists Phil in the effective running of the clerks’ room. In addition to diary and case management, Michelle is instrumental in the development of barristers’ practices, fee negotiation and the building and maintaining of client relationships. Michelle takes an active role in client events and in the promotion of Chambers.

Nathan Hitchman - Senior Practice Manager
Nathan commenced his clerking career in 2006, joining New Square Chambers in July 2019.
As a Senior Practice Manager, Nathan is responsible for diary management, negotiating fees, practice development, building and maintaining client relationships.
He has completed the Bar Council Public Access course, and received a distinction in BTEC Advanced Award in Chambers Administration. Nathan is also a member of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks.
Charlie Sherwood - Practice Manager
Charlie joined Chambers in January 2015 as a Junior Practice Manager. He was promoted to Practice Manager in January 2018.
Charlie’s responsibilities include: diary management, fee negotiation, case allocation, case listing, liaising with clients and the overall development of members' practices. He has received a distinction in the BTEC Advanced Award in Chambers Administration, and is a member of the Institute of Barristers’ Clerks.

Cameron Grant - Practice Manager
Cameron began his clerking career in 2010 at a leading chancery set in Lincoln’s Inn, later joining one of England’s largest sets in 2016, where he expanded his knowledge and experience. Cameron joined New Square Chambers in November 2018 as a Practice Manager.
Cameron’s main duties include; diary management, fee negotiation, case allocation, case listing, liaising with clients and the overall development of members' practices.
Billie-Jo Campbell - Junior Practice Manager
Billie-Jo joined Chambers in October 2019. She assists the other Practice Managers and members with daily administrative duties, both within and outside Chambers, such as lodging bundles, preparing court documents and assisting Counsel as needed.
Luke Holland - Junior Practice Manager
Luke joined Chambers in October 2020. Luke assists the other Practice Managers and members with daily administrative duties, such as lodging bundles, preparing court documents and assisting Counsel as needed.
Business Development
John Campbell BA(Hons), MSc, LLB, Dip LP - Business Development Director
John leads Chambers’ Business Development team. Prior to becoming a lawyer John held posts in the public and private sectors. John practiced law in Scotland for over twenty years where he held senior positions at Partner/Director level, his area of expertise was private client. During this time, John tutored postgraduate students at Edinburgh University Law School.
John has worked in London, Edinburgh and internationally, he brings a depth and breadth of business experience to his role as BD Director. John has been consistently recognised in the leading legal Directories for his entrepreneurial thinking, passion and enthusiasm in driving Chambers' BD and Marketing strategy.
John understands the benefit of developing and nurturing strong, trusted relationships. John created a tailored Client Care Programme to ensure that Chambers delivers the highest level of legal advice and support for our clients.
John continues to look at ways to ensure that Chambers remains the chambers of choice for existing and new clients.

Facilities & Administration
Kerry McLean - Chambers Manager
As Chambers Manager, Kerry is responsible for the administration and financial management of Chambers. Following a career in the army, Kerry worked in the City as finance director of the Insurance Institute.
Sam Cloete - Fees Manager
Sam joined Chambers in July 2017. She is Chambers' main contact for fees and credit control, and is happy to assist on all queries regarding private fees, CFA and Legal Aid matters.
Elvine Simms - Secretary
Elvine joined New Square Chambers in 2007. She assists members of Chambers with the production of legal documents, and also acts as cover for reception when needed.
Ramona Hudson - Receptionist
Ramona provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere for members, clients and guests.
